You may say well Darnell, i don’t have a business.
I work a full time job.
So, no I don’t have any clients yet.
Well, YOU ARE WRONG !!!!
You have 1 client that pays you for the service you provide.
Also, they pay you just enough so you don’t leave them.
I called that golden handcuffs.
I was just interviewing a local entrepreneur who reminded me of the following.
She explained how a friend of her’s worked for a well known company in Memphis.
He told her how he envied that fact if she lost half of her clients that she would still be paid from her other clients and have the ability to go out and get more customers.
Yet, he only had one customer which was his full time job.
If he lost that one customer, he would be in financial trouble.

What happens if they decide to leave? Would your business survive?
You have heard this before never putt all of your eggs into one basket.
I encourage you if you are still only working a job, you need to quickly figure out how to develop another stream of income.
I have worked in corporate America for several years and survived four different rounds of layoffs.
I was blessed to never be let go but did not realize how risky it was having only one source of income.
The time is now to take control of your financial situation and not rely on that 1 customer.
I want to hear from you.
